We have added an exciting, new and versatile range of couplings to the connectors we supply. Bennett Scientific's couplings start with simple, one-piece hose connectors, to fully autoclavable, leak-free, quick-disconnect couplings. These products, depending on their bore-size, are available in white acetyl resin, nylon, polypropylene, polycarbonate, polysulphone and stainless steel. Bore sizes are from 0.30 to 19mm, allowing for both micro and high-flow applications. The quick-disconnect couplings feature leak-free, reliable, repeated connections. Other features include easy thumb-latch operation, single and double automated flow shut-off, together with various methods of sterilisation, depending on the connector material. Typical applications include cell-culture, media packaging and transfer lines, harvest and collection applications, buffer solutions, laboratory tubing connections, diagnostic and pharmaceuticals manufacturing, to name but a few.
