in hospitals as part of the surgical instrument decontamination
process of items such as surgical forceps and scalpels.

The Hygea 1250 uses a unique detergent system. A single sachet
of detergent added to the tank will create the optimal cleaning solution
for carrying out instrument decontamination. The dosed fluid will clean many
cycles before changing. To comply with HTM2010 requirements fluid must be
changed for each clinical session (twice a day)

Instrument Cassettes securely hold dental instruments in place throughout the decontamination process. Incorporating an open design to aid the ultrasonic cleaning process, the cassettes signficantly reduce the potential for sharps injuries and allow easy transfer throughout the surgery.
Incorporating a strong stainless steel frame and removable silicone strip inserts, Instrument Cassettes are available in 2 sizes for holding 5 (UIC5) and 10 (UIC10) dental examination instruments.
Instruments are protected and stored throughout the whole decontamination cycle as the cassettes can also be used in washer disinfectors and autoclaves.
